Manduka now provides a hot yoga towel additionally to this standard version, but Amazon doesn’t seem to carry it yet. It is more plush, and should you sweat buckets, I highly recommend it. Numerous absorbent yoga towels I’ve tried don’t give quite enough, but the new one obtainable on their website does.

I just used the towel for the initial time this morning, during the seated primary series. I haven’t tried it for the standing asanas, since I don’t sweat as well much then. It feels great against my skin, sticks to the mat, and handles sweat well: my toes didn’t slip throughout janu sirasana B, and the towel didn’t bunch at all during vinyasas. Felt excellent throughout headstand, as well. My mat’s about the older side and showing some wear, but hopefully this will prolong its life in addition to making my practice a little much more enjoyable.

I’ve been practicing yoga for awhile now and I was so sick of slipping on my rubber mat. I started using hand towels that my studio provided under my hands and feet and it was just obtaining ridiculous! After reading reviews and comparing products I decided about the eQua towel. Now I have sweaty hands and feet just throughout regular yoga so this mat started working during the first downward dog. I can also now do my side angle, warrior and triangle poses without slipping into the splits. I love it and its worth the money. It’s even a bit less expensive than the fancier towels and machine washable.
